The weekender is our largest and most decadent bag. Large enough to hold all your essentials for a weekend getaway, or if your wanderlust sends you further, this bag serves as a great carry on when flying. Bag features an exterior zippered pocket ( on the reverse side) as well as an interior zippered pocket and is fully lined.

Our bags are made from handwoven, recycled Mayan huipils. These huipils (or blouses as we call them) are intricately detailed, take 2-3 months to weave, are all one of a kind, and often tell a story about the weaver and where she's from. Often weaving is the only skill these women possess and make very little money to support their families. We purchase these huipils directly from the women and turn them into bags giving them a sustainable income. All totes are lined inside, have an inside pocket and a zipper closure.
